Shabbat Morning Service with TBE Online
- Saturday, June 5
- 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
Our Shabbat service includes the celebration of the B’ Mitzvah of Eliana Wirtz. Please take note this service is being held remotely and will be a private family service.
Hello TBE community! My name is Eliana Wirtz. I live in Natick with my younger brother Cam, who is in the third grade, my parents, Debbie and Brian, and my adorable little puppy, Blizzard. I go to Wilson Middle School and my favorite class is Social Studies because I love learning about the history of the world. Over quarantine I learned how to bake chocolate chip cookies, and let me tell you, I cannot stop! I’ve made a few hundred cookies so far and I don’t see an end in sight! I love giving my cookies away to friends and family. For my Bat Mitzvah project I am taking my hobby of making cookies and selling them to friends and family and donating 100% of the funds to the Boston Youth Sanctuary. BYS is a non-profit, therapeutic after-school program for youth ages 6-11 that have experienced traumatic events or circumstances in their lives and is run by someone very close to me and my family. Over the years I have spent time meeting and playing with the kids, teaching them to play the dreidel game and have done lots of sorting and organizing of the clothing donations. I have also been donating two dozen cookies per week for the past few months to Metrowest Meal Bags where they are delivered to people in need
