Shabbat Morning Service (Hybrid)

Our Shabbat service includes the celebration of the B’Mitzvah of Caleb Jerusalmi.

I’m Caleb Jerusalmi and I am becoming a bar mitzvah on February 10, 2024. I have 4 people in my family. My little brother, Eli, who is 9 years old, and my Mom and Dad. We like to ski as a family. My favorite thing to do is swim. I am on a swim team and it is awesome. I am on a team called the Longfellow Stingrays. I also swim for an AAU team, Bluewaves. This means I swim a lot, 5x a week. During the summer, I love spending my time at Camp Young Judaea (CYJ). I go for 7 weeks and the friends and memories I have made there will last forever.

Becoming a bar mitzvah is a very important milestone to me and my family. My family have become b’mitzvah in the past and I want to follow in their footsteps. For my bar mitzvah project, I am collecting money to buy supplies to donate to Israeli soldiers (IDF). This means I am doing what I love, while also knowing I am helping my community and saving lives.
