About William
Hi, Will’s my name, don’t wear it out. One of my favorite things to do is build with legos. I love to do this for many reasons, some include that they help me relax because they allow me to have the freedom to build anything I want. Another reason is that they have been a big part of my life since I have been building with them for a long time. My family is a special one to me. I live with my two little sisters Lily who just turned 11 and Molly who is 7, my parents, and I also have a dog named Clyde. I have much responsibility being the oldest out of three siblings. I am also a sporty guy, who plays football, hockey, and baseball. I’m going into 7th grade in Kennedy Middle school, which was recently rebuilt. I play trombone in the school band and hope to join the Temple band too. I don’t have a favorite subject because I like all of them, but one of my favorites is science because unlike other subjects, I feel like it allows me to push my thinking beyond what is said in stone. For my Mitzvah project I am volunteering in the kitchen at Community Servings. Their mission is to actively engage the community to prepare medically tailored, nutritious, scratch-made meals to chronically ill and critically ill individuals and their families. This is a great opportunity for me since I enjoy cooking and helping those who are ill and in need. I am looking forward to becoming a Bar Mitzvah because I always believed that all Jews have a special bond with the Torah since it holds the story of our ancestors. It makes me proud to know that I’m carrying the legacy to the next generation.
