About Sienna
Dear Temple Beth Elohim,

I’m Sienna Lief, a passionate ski racer who spends a lot of my time in New Hampshire skiing at Loon mountain. I really enjoy the excitement of stepping up to the start gate at the race, and also supporting my teammates as they race through the gates. Along with skiing, I play a lot of soccer on the Wellesley town and club teams.

My younger sister Aly is also a ski racer and soccer player. She is 10 and in 5th grade at Fiske elementary in Wellesley. Our 2-year old dog is a 75-pound Bernadoodle named Maier after the famous ski racer Hermann Maier. This year I’m in 7th grade at Wellesley Middle School. Math is my favorite subject – I really enjoy working with numbers and piecing together different problems.

The process of becoming Bat Mitzvah has been a lot of fun, I enjoy learning my Torah portion and being able to read out of the Torah. I am looking forward to being seen as an adult in our community. For my service project, I have made masks for people who may not have access to them or couldn’t afford them. I believe that it is very important to stay as safe as possible in these Covid times, and helping others stay safe is an equally important thing to do.
