Every Voice, Every Vote: Combat Voter Suppression Postcard Pick Up

  • Tuesday, September 8
  • 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Ahead of the 2020 elections, continued voter contact is critical. The goals of this  postcard campaign is to contact registered voters in key states to get them to check their voter registration status to make sure they are still eligible to vote in the upcoming elections and to encourage voters to pledge to vote, and VOTE! Since early July, TBE members have written over 5,300 postcards to voters in states with a large percentages of people of color and a history of discriminatory voting practices.
Pick up your package of postcards, a script, and names/addresses to whom the postcards will be sent. Each package contains 30 postcards and you can order 1 or 2 packages.  Click here to request a postcard package by Thursday, September 3.
To minimize expenses we are asking volunteers to pick up their postcard packages in front of TBE at pre-arranged times.  If this is not possible or you are uncomfortable, we will arrange for delivery to your home.

Folks can write their postcards on their own or join in a “TBE Virtual Activist Evening” via Zoom, where we will write our postcards together. The next TBE Virtual Activist Evening will be held via Zoom on Thursday, September 10, 7:30–8:30 pm. The Zoom link will be sent to those who order postcard packages.

Postcard pick up dates & times:Sunday, September 6, 12:00–1:00 pm
Monday, September 7, 6:00–7:00 pm
Tuesday, September 8, 6:00–7:00 pm
