- 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Our Mincha Ma’ariv service includes the celebration of the B’ Mitzvah of Benjamin Friedman. Please take note: This service is being held remotely and will be a private family service.
Hi TBE Community,
My name is Ben Friedman. I am 12 years old and live in Wellesley with my parents, 10-year-old brother Alex, and our dog Rosie. I enjoy playing lacrosse and baseball, skiing, golfing and playing tennis. I have also been playing piano for 5 years. In the summer, I attend overnight camp at Camp Winnebago in Maine.
I am a seventh grader at Wellesley Middle School. My favorite classes are social studies and science, and my favorite elective is music. I am excited to be an eighth grader next year.
My family and I volunteer at the Greater Boston Food Bank and Cradles to Crayons. They are two causes that are important to my family and have become important to me as well. I look forward to being able to volunteer there in person again soon, once COVID restrictions are over.
Getting ready for my Bar Mitzvah has been challenging, but I have really enjoyed working with Rabbi Jeff Lazar. Rabbi Jeff makes it exciting and fun, and I am happy to be so close to being a Bar Mitzvah. After seven months of work, I am ready for more responsibility and to be seen as an adult in the eyes of others.
