Sacred Aging Class for Women from 65-80

It is not unusual for baby boomers to claim that 60 is the new 40, or 70 is the new 50. In doing so, we may be reinforcing the attitude that getting old is about decline. How about if we redefine what it means to get older? How about if 60 is the new 60, 70 the new 70?

Cantor Emerita, Jodi Sufrin, invites you to join her for a six-session Sacred Aging class that will look at the challenges and joys of aging, focusing on aging as an opportunity for growth, discovery and meaning. We will incorporate discussion, study, music, Mussar and meditation, all within a Jewish framework that is loosely based on a Wise Aging curriculum by Rachel Cowan and Linda Thal. Space is limited to 12 participants, so be sure to sign up soon!

If you are not able to attend all the classes, kindly refrain from registering so that someone else who can participate in all sessions has that opportunity.  Thank you for your understanding.

Dates & Time: September 14 & 28, October 12 & 19, November 9 & 16, 12:00-1:30 PM
