Healing Together: Make, Mend & Music with TBE Online
- Thursday, July 30
- 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM
- Join us in person
Havayah, TBE’s Darchei Tikvah/Pathways to Hope initiative, and Better Together invite the community for an evening dedicated to healing through creativity. Through the mindful practice of stitching, collaging, painting, or drawing while listening or humming to Jewish soul music, we will share in the sacred practice of creativity, healing, renewal, and hope. Feel free to provide your own thread, fabric, or paper collage supplies, and/or reserve a kit of stitching supplies that you can pick up from TBE. No experience needed, all are welcome even if you don’t believe you have an artistic bone in you. Find a comfortable working space and have ready any materials you might want to use for art making such as; paper, colored pencils, collage materials, needle, thread and fabric. We will focus together on the process, not the product.
Led by artist Caron Tabb, Havayah teen leaders Jon Snyder, Hannah Kreiss, Zachary Gondelman and Talia Bloom, and Havayah Director, Hannah Richman
