From Constriction to Freedom: An Inner and Outer Journey (Online)

  • Thursday, March 20, 2025
  • 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM
  • Join us online
  • Program Leader: Terry Rosenberg

Passover tells the story of the Exodus of the people of Israel from Egypt, the land of constriction. As the Torah tells us, it is the Pharoah’s “hard heart,” a heart lacking in compassion, that prevents allowing the people of Israel their freedom. In this sense, inner liberation is linked with liberation in the greater world. A hardened heart is constricted, a softened heart is a space for compassion and acceptance.

In these practice sessions we will explore what constriction and liberation mean for each of us, and how the practice of mindfulness can soften our hearts, to ourselves and the world around us. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned mindfulness practitioner, please join us.

This course follows a sequential structure, and participants are encouraged to attend all sessions. If you are interested in joining once the course has begun, please contact the program leader.
