Family Havdalah Outdoors at TBE
- Monday, September 28
- 5:00 PM to 5:50 PM
- Program Leader: Rabbi Rachel Saphire
Safety guidelines permitting, families with children in grades K–7 are invited to join us to close out a day filled with awe. We will end together with reflections, Havdalah, and a final shofar blast. This event will take place in the TBE parking lot. We will have a 5:00 pm Havdalah for the greater community of families with children in grades K–7 and a 6:15 pm Havdalah for those participating in our BaBayit program. Participants are invited to bring chairs with them; the temple is unable to provide seating.
Registration will be required and space is limited. This event is in person and will be available for TBE members only. The final day to make reservations through our online reservations form was Tuesday, September 8.
Essential information about in-person events:
Health & Safety
In order to protect the health and safety of our entire community, we require anyone attending an in-person event at TBE who is over the age of five to wear a face covering or mask. For children between age two and five, the wearing of a face covering or mask is at the discretion of the child’s parent or guardian. Children under the age of two should not wear a face covering or mask.
We are committed to practicing physical distancing while at the temple. You must maintain physical distance of six feet between households. Members of the same household may sit together. We will have numbered spots drawn on our parking lot indicating where groups should sit to be a safe distance apart.
We look forward to welcoming you and helping you find a space for your household to ensure everyone remains a safe distance apart.
Every individual coming to TBE is required to complete an online health screening form before arriving. Access the form at TBEWellesley.org/HealthScreening.
When you arrive, please pull into the driveway at Schofield Elementary School (27 Cedar Street) and park in their lot. Handicap parking will also be available at Schofield. Our volunteers will be in the parking lot to provide directions! We suggest you arrive 20 minutes before the start of the service.
