Becoming an Ally & DEI Champion | A Conversation with Colette Phillips (Hybrid)

Allyship is a much talked about concept, but how in fact, can we be real advocates in our Beit Elohim, our neighborhoods and our workplaces. Join the Racial Justice Initiative on as we learn from Colette Philips, author of The Includers: the 7 Traits of Culturally Savvy, Anti-Racist Leaders. The conversation will broach the intersections between antisemitism and antiracism work as we consider how our worldview and sometimes valued relationships were challenged by the events of October 7th and its aftermath. A Black Jewish woman who has been involved in DEI work for 30 years, Colette Phillips will inspire and challenge our community to remain steadfast advocates for belonging, diversity, equity, and inclusion for all with practical steps and advice!

At a reception following the conversation, Colette’s groundbreaking book may be purchased or bring your own copy for Colette to sign! Please bring cash or check.
