Adult Learning Kickoff: Featuring Abigail Pogrebin and Rabbi Dov Linzer (Hybrid)

We’re going to learn amazing wisdom from Jewish tradition and from each other at the BEIT (Beth Elohim Institute for Transformation) this year! To kick off our year of learning with a focus on chevruta (partnered) study, we’ll share in a free conversational dinner as a community, then laugh with and be inspired by our keynote speakers: Abigail Pogrebin, renowned journalist and author, and Rabbi Dov Linzer, President and Rosh HaYeshiva (Rabbinic Head) of the Modern Orthodox Yeshivat Chovevei Torah Rabbinical Seminary. Pogrebin and Linzer are an unlikely chevruta pair who began to study Torah together bringing their very different perspectives, and their enlightening and enlivening conversations and interpretations are now recorded in their new co-authored book, It Takes Two to Torah.

However you’ll explore the transformative and supportive power of Jewish wisdom and practice through the BEIT this year, you won’t want to miss this joyful evening of learning.
