(Formerly Ayekah) the T is TBE’s sub-community for singles and couples (without children) in their 20s & 30s. Since Fall 2009, our expanding TBE 20s & 30s community have gathered to share a variety of Jewish experiences. From Shabbat dinners to brunches, Havdallah to Passover seders, we come from all around the Greater Boston area to explore Judaism together. What drives the T are the friendships and connections we form with each other through Jewish learning and celebration.

Museum of Fine Arts, Boston
FREE (but please RSVP)
Don’t miss Boston’s most vibrant Hanukkah happening! Feel the energy as the MFA comes alive with music, art, crafts, and storytelling at this free night of fun for all ages. Dance to Jim Guttmann’s big band, Bessarabian Breakdown (with klezmer dance lessons), enjoy the Voice of the Turtle Duo’s timeless versions of ancient Sephardic folk songs, experience Yiddish infused opera performances by Anthony Mordechai Zvi Russell, and hear stories by local Moth storytelling champion Rabbi Dan Judson. Enjoy art making throughout the museum, try your hand at drawing in the galleries, join gallery talks, and go on a Hanukkah themed scavenger hunt.
At 6:30pm, join us in the Shapiro Courtyard to light the MFA-commissioned menorah by artist Silvina Mizrahi.
New this year – participate in the creation of a glow in the dark hanukkiah art installation.
Families, come early: we’ll have a PJ Library sing along, face painting, and craft projects starting at 4:30pm.
Trybal Hanukkah Spin Night
7:15 - 9 pm
310 Harrison Ave., Boston, MA 02116
Lights! Candles! Action!
On the 5th night of Hanukkah, we're swapping dreidels for pedals at Turnstyle's spin studio in the South End! Hanukkah Spin Night is more than a typical spin class. Led by Rachel Kohn, one of Turnstyle's most renowned instructors, a Hanukkah-themed workout will power us through a mind-body experience that focuses on perseverance, ritual, and light -- just like the story of the Maccabees.
After burning our way through an energizing ride, we’ll light the menorah and feast on a sufganiot wall, libations, and other treats (100% guilt-free).
This experience is open to riders of all levels and first-timers. Registration includes a 45-minute workout, clip-in shoes, swag, a festive candle-lighting, nosh, one free drink, and an empowering community-building and muscle-building experience. Come ready to challenge yourself spiritually and physically!
