Sasha Lee
I am Sasha Lee. My favorite activity is playing hockey. I love zooming after the puck and getting in the way of the other team. When I play hockey, it’s always a blast. I also love drawing and creating original characters for story ideas. I live with my mother and father. While I have a child-like sense of humor, I can always talk about more serious things. We read the Wall Street Journal at breakfast, and I enjoy learning about world news.
I’m a seventh grader at Brown Middle School in Newton, where all my classes are fun, but my favorite this year has been Engineering. In Engineering, we are making wooden cars that mix art with the science of aerodynamics.
Being a bat mitzvah, to me, means becoming an adult and learning from a more adult perspective. I’ve participated in many community service activities to help people with food insecurity. My favorite was making soup kits, which was fun. I learned that helping others can be fun and rewarding.
