I have been on tech well before the pandemic so its impact has been limited in my life since Covid. However I have strengthened my connections with others that do not want to be holed up in basements and want to live life. It’s short and precious so I have been closer with friends , neighbors and family who are realistic enough to know humans need real social contact. We let the prisoners out of jail but put them in home confinement which is what our populace is doing to themselves. Those people who still go to work with me, those who play sports with me or will even take the take to just converse, I have gotten to know and they me. There are people next door you don’t know until something disrupts the routine and brings you together. These are times you can see who are strong and realistic and those who are fearful and weak.
