MITZVAH DAY: Repairing the world as one community
Join us for a day of tikkun olam for ALL ages.
We began the year together with community dinners. Building on the theme of community, we will gather again for Mitzvah Day to do projects to: feed the hungry; provide birthday parties, books, and learning materials to children in need; make baby blankets and activity kits for hospital patients; help animal rescue organizations; sing and offer companionship to nursing home residents; spruce up non-profit facilities; plant at community farms; beautify the TBE grounds; and run, walk or ride for the organizations and causes we support.
Some projects need more people to make a greater impact on our community. Please consider these projects as you make your selections:
- Craft Kits for Pre-schoolers
- Family Table Meal Delivery
- Greater Boston Food Bank
- Lunches for the Homeless
- Planting at TBE
- Stray Pets in Need
- Waltham Fields Community Farm
Hurry, registration closes May 9.
