Lunch & Learn
Lunch and Learn is a series of monthly programs on wide-ranging Jewish themes. Speakers include TBE clergy, staff, congregants and invited guests. Lunch and Learn is a great way to meet new friends and stay connected with folks you know. All programs are free and open to the TBE community and their friends.
Lunch and Learn meets from 12:00 - 1:30 pm. Please bring a brown bag lunch and a drink.

- The Ostrich Effect: The Implications of Avoidance for Relationships
Bill Kahn, Ph.D. is an organizational psychologist specializing in interpersonal, group, and intergroup relationships at work. He is a Professor of Organizational Behavior in the School of Management at Boston University. He researches the sources of stubborn problems in work relationships, groups and organizations and specializes in the dynamics of caregiving organizations.
He has published numerous articles in organizational and management journals on topic ranging from instigating and reacting to change, creating healthy work relationships, and the nature of leadership and authority. He is the author of two books: Holding Fast: The Struggle to Create Resilient Caregiving Organizations and This House We Build: Lessons for Healthy Synagogues and the People Who Dwell There.
