Community of Adult Social Action (CASA)
CASA (TBE's Community of Adult Social Action) was created for TBE members to make connections and build community while doing good works together. We invite adult TBE members looking to get more involved or who would like to connect with other TBE members to join our small-group social justice activities. CASA events take place for a few hours on a Saturday or Sunday and there is no commitment to participate in all events. Come when you can! Working together is a great way to get to know people and make meaningful connections—even more so as we do projects that express our Jewish values and truly make a difference. Come check out CASA!

We will inspect, sort, and package food items to be distributed to local relief agencies. Contact Janet Goldenberg to RSVP or for more information. (15 volunteers)
Saturday, April 12, 8:00 am-12:00 pm
Great Boston Food Bank Mobile Market, South Boston
We’re excited about this first-time project where we will deliver high-quality, fresh food to vulnerable communities. We’ll set up, staff, and pack up the ‘Mobile Market’, where clients can choose from fresh produce, dairy products, and high-protein items laid out on farmers market-style tables. "The CASA event at Rosie's Place was an amazing experience. As volunteers our TBE community came together with the unified goal of stepping beyond our own busy lives to try to make a difference in the lives of others. We worked hard, but I found the experience to be exceptionally meaningful. We worked well as a team and our efforts were appreciated by Rosie's guests and their dedicated staff. Tikkun olam was the spirit of the day and this particular Shabbat experience will remain with me for a very long time.
