Shabbat Morning Minyan
Several years ago, a group of congregants started an intimate worship service on Saturday mornings. Minyan begins at 8:30 a.m. and concludes at 9:15 a.m.; followed by a coffee-and-bagel break, and Torah study. Some of the sessions are lay-led and some are clergy-led. All are participatory, warm and relaxed, and add another facet to worship at Temple Beth Elohim.
Beginning September 2013
Shabbat Morning Minyan & Torah Study with Rabbi Sherman and Guests
Minyan, 8:30 am & Torah Study, 9:30 am—Are you searching for a prayer community on Shabbat morning? Are you looking for a contemplative experience as the sun rises on Shabbat? If so, join us to celebrate Shabbat morning in prayer. Minyan is followed by an exploration of the weekly Torah portion, asking how these texts relate to our lives. All are participatory, warm and relaxed, and of course include coffee and bagels. We hope to see you on Shabbat morning!
