We are honored to welcome Anat Hoffman to TBE.  Ms. Hoffman is the executive director of the Israel Religious Action Center (IRAC), the legal and advocacy arm of the Reform Movement in Israel.  Ms. Hoffman leads IRAC to promote the values of religious pluralism, human equality, social justice and religious tolerance in Israel.  She also works to protect and strengthen the Israel Movement for Progressive Judaism (Reform Judaism in Israel), its congregations and institutions.  Ms. Hoffman is a high-profile leader, perhaps best known for her persistence, even when faced with seemingly insurmountable obstacles.  She was a founding member of Women of the Wall and continues to be a tireless advocate for freedom of religion and women’s rights. Learn about the social and religious issues that threaten the State of Israel and the specific ways that you and our congregation can respond.  The Israel Connection Team looks forward to strengthening our relationship with IRAC and joining Ms. Hoffman in building a strong Israel that reflects our core Jewish values.
